Florida's Paint Microbrewery

Florida Protective Coatings is a small paint and coatings facility manufacturing high quality products for specialty markets as well as top-of-the-line interior and exterior paints. Excellent quality control and near-zero environmental impact are both benefits of our small batch sizes.

Facility operations affecting VOC Emissions

Regulation requires "emit VOC at rates of not more than 15 pounds (6.8 kilograms) in any one day and not more than 3 pounds (1.4 kilograms) in any one hour"

FPC estimates that our heaviest production day possible would involve the USE of approximately 15 lbs of VOC emitting material - our estimates put a maximum of 02% or an Absolute facility maximum 3/10 ths of a pound possible per day. To date 2-15-2007 we have not yet been at that level of production

FPC is committed to safeguarding our local environment. While our volume exempts us from permitting regulations, our unique "brewing" techniques,ultra-low VOC ingredients, and zero waste stream continuous improvement program will allow us to expand capcity while producing no liquid waste and with little impact on OUR environment.
